• FLY-TIPPING is ignored in Camden, so the council is no longer committed to improving the quality of life for residents, businesses and visitors.

There has been a growing problem of waste being stored, dumped and / or placed out on non-domestic refuse collection days in Mornington Crescent for the past 10 years.

After a cycle rack and a litter bin were placed on a street corner they have become a magnet for fly-tipping. The cycle rack is badly positioned on a street corner, and regularly gets demolished by traffic. Yet it is always replaced, while the litter bin is usually surrounded by refuse bags and flat card-board.

This unsightly and unhygienic environment may be attractive to tourists, but it encourages pests such as rats, foxes and even seagulls, and can help to spread diseases.
